this recipe reminds me of my childhood, one of the best dishes i’ve ever tasted, just try it and thank me later.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
4 lbs cleaned pork chitterlings
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 tablespoons minced garlic
1 medium sized onion chopped
1 medium sized bell pepper chopped
1 tablespoon crushed red peppers
2 tablespoon chopped jalapeno peppers
2 cups chicken broth
3 cups water
HOW TO MAKE IT:
step 1:
Cut your chitterlings, and place them into a pot.
step 2:
Add in your bell peppers an onion, crushed red peppers, jalapenos, and garlic.
step 3:
Now pour in your chicken broth, and water.
step 4:
Cover the pot, and place the pot on the stove.
step 5:
Turn the heat to high, and bring it to a boil.
step 6:
Let boil for 10 minutes, then turn it down to medium.
step 7:
Let the chitterlings cook over medium heat for 3 1/2 hours or until tender.
Be sure to stir periodically!
