Fruit and cheese filled tart the traditional way

Cherry and sweet cheese filled tart
3 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
One tablespoon vanilla sugar
Two sticks of butter (225 grams)
2 eggs
One teaspoon baking soda
One teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Filling
8 ounce cream cheese
1/2 cup farmers cheese
One yolk
1/2 cup sugar
One cup shaved almonds or slivered your preference
Cherries in half pieces 1 1/2 cup soaked in rum and one tablespoon sugar. no pits please

Crust
Beat butter and sugar till fluffy
Add eggs, soda, baking powder, salt flour. Make a nice dough cover in plastic wrap chill for an hour.
Cut dough in half
Roll out a 9!inch crust that is
About 1/2 inch or a little less thickness, into a tart pan
Add the almonds to the bottom crust layer the cheese cheese filling on top.
Make sure you drain the cherries on a paper towels for a few minute before adding them on top of the cheese.
Roll out the other half of the dough to put on the top of the tart.
Decorate with egg white wash lightly and shaved or slivered almonds
Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 min to an hour checking often.
