Ritz Cracker Salted Caramel Icebox Cake

Going into the kitchen in this heat is a bit like going to work on a Sunday, you don’t want to … But this is for a good cause! Today I suggest you make a Ritz Cracker Salted Caramel Icebox Cake. If you feel able to last 10 minutes behind a pan you will not regret it, an ultra gourmet frozen dessert will be your reward.

* Ingredients :

☞ 1 small spoon vanilla extract
☞ 1 cup salted caramel sauce, divided
☞ Whipped cream
☞ 47 Ritz crackers
☞ 2 (7 oz.) packages cream cheese, softened
☞ 1 cup granulated sugar
☞ 1 cup heavy whipping cream

* Method :

1 – Grease an baking dish with non-stick cooking sprinkle
In a large bowl, whisk the cream cheese & sugar avec an electric mixer until smooth.

2 – Add heavy cream and vanilla, and whisk about 6 min.
Organize  an even layer of crackers over the bottom of the baking plate . Put  the crackers with cream cheese mixture,and , spread caramel sauce on the top.

3 –  Reiterate with another layer of crackers/ cream cheese mixture/ another 1/3 of the caramel sauce/ another layer of crackers/ and lasting cream cheese mixture.

4 – Cover & chill in refrigerator until set . Once chilled, cut into squares & top with extra whipped cream & caramel sauce if you want  . SHARE & ENJOY !!
