
Cajun Salmon and Shrimp Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 salmon fillets
- 10–12 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) or heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Pat salmon and shrimp dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat salmon and shrimp evenly with the seasoning mixture.
- If baking: place salmon and shrimp on a lined baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, until salmon flakes easily and shrimp are pink.
- If pan-searing: cook salmon for 4–5 minutes per side and shrimp for 2 minutes per side until golden.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top and garnish with parsley.
Serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
